Pio Cesare Barolo is one of the most historic and prestigious producers in Barolo, founded in 1881 in Alba, Piedmont. It represents the classic, traditional style of Barolo, combining power, structure, and elegance, made predominantly from Nebbiolo grapes grown in prime Barolo vineyards.

Appearance: Deep garnet, often with orange hues developing with age. Aromas: Complex bouquet of red cherries, dried roses, tar, licorice, truffle, and earthy notes, evolving into spice, leather, and forest floor with age. Palate: Full-bodied and structured, with firm, grippy tannins balanced by vibrant acidity. Flavors include red fruit, dried herbs, and hints of cocoa or tobacco. The finish is long, persistent, and elegant, showing both power and finesse.
