Kaiken Mai Malbec

Mai is the perfect expression of Malbec from our Vistalba terroir in Mendoza, where we carefully select grapes from old vineyards planted in 1910 to craft a unique, elegant wine, with a well-defined character.

Origin: Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, at 1050 meters (4101 feet) above sea level.

TASTING NOTES

Lively garnet-red color with ruby tints and legs which flow more slowly down the sides of a glass. On the nose, the effect of years in barrel and bottle ageing stands out as well as an elegant combination of aromas of ripe fruit, and red and black fruits such as strawberries, cherries, plums, and raspberries, intertwined with notes of tobacco, vanilla, and nuts. It is intensely aromatic and very complex. The palate is intense but very delicate, with a balanced acidity that reveals a prolonged and elegant finish. A harmonious wine with incredible balance and mouthfeel. The flavors enhance the aromatic sensations and prolong them over time, just like this centenary vineyard that continues to write its story with each harvest.
